Sorry for the lack of posts the last few days. We have been hard at work trying to get the on-line team page off the ground and figuring out the best and most efficient ways of getting the training plan lined up for beginner, intermediate, and advanced throwers.
We almost have it figured out, so please look for an announcement for the rest of the week. In the mean time, I will be shooting a video tonight as a sampling of what you will be receiving every Sunday night if you sign up to be a part of the on-line throwing team.
Here is how it is going to work (your comments and suggestions are certainly welcome). Every Sunday you will receive an email from me specially designed for only those athletes who have signed up to be part of the on-line team.
This email will include three levels of training for the entire week. A beginner weightlifting program for those athletes will very little experience in the weight room, an intermediate weightlifting program for those athletes with a year or two experience in the weight room, and an advanced weightlifting program for those high level high school and college throwers with 3 or more years of experience in the weight room.
In addition to the program, you will get a video from me explaining what the exercises are, proper technique, and alternate exercises (if your gym or weight room doesn’t have the right equipment). The video will just show and tell the exercises, the program will have the sets, reps, weight to be used, and the real meat of the program.
Along with the lifting program and video, you will also get two additional days of training that you can do outside the weight room. These will include things like sprints, plyometrics, med ball throws, and modified strongman exercises to build your power and rate of force development.
Lastly, you will get to be part of an exclusive Facebook group just for on-line E.T.C team members and coaches. This is where you can post questions about the program, try to find other throwers in your area to train with, post videos for me and the other throwers and coaches to critique, as well as vent and rant a little when you need a good kick in the butt and motivation.
I am thinking this will be super cheap ($10-$15 a month).
Your suggestions are always welcome and I would love to hear from you. Keep an eye out for that sample video later tonight or tomorrow.
