We throw together every Sunday in Johnston, RI. Practice begins at 9:00AM and goes until 3:30PM.

 

There are three sessions throughout the day:

 

Session 1

9:00-10:30 discus

10:30-11:30 shot (glide and rotation)

 

Session 2

11:30-12:30 shot (glide and rotation)

12:30-1:30 discus

 

Session 3

1:30-2:30 discus

2:30-3:30 shot (glide and rotation)

 

Athletes wishing to focus on all shot can show up from 10:30 to 12:30.

Athletes wishing to focus on all discus can show up from 12:30 to 2:30.

 

We throw (almost) every Sunday all year round and have for the past 14 years!

We do take major holidays off as well as any Sundays where a meet might be occurring or if family obligations pop up.

We average 49 Sundays of coaching every year!

The cost for the entire day of throwing is only $35.

Discounted monthly throwing memberships are available for dedicated athletes who can commit to 3 or more Sundays per month.

During the colder winter months, all throwing practices will take place inside Johnston High School.
